My first time out with BL I was running a Losi and had the motor up to 225 degrees and it smelt real bad, but the thing keeps on going, and I field my car with that same motor and exactly year old batteries and I keep up with the fastest guys (on the straight at least). Mike Haynes told me something similar, that the Losi's are more resilient to heat then the Hackers.
My hacker did the same thing (altho not that hot) To make it run 160 or so, it was sloooooooooooooooow

IMO, novak still has the best 13.5 out, its the fastest, and runs pretty darn cool compared to my hacker.
