First of all I was there when the accident happened.
From what I knew, Mr.X was running the car from the pit area, not in the driver stand. His car did not use bodyshell, and he stopped the car on the side line of the straight line.
If Mr.X were in the driver stand he could simply told the 1/8 driver that his car was on the straight. Moreover if a bodyshell has been in place it could at least make the car more visible or more prone to damage.
Well the 1/8 driver was not a good driver either. He has all the wide open space on the straight, but still he drove on the very side of the track. All was like in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Yes, we need a separate track.
