Personally, I'm getting better results out of a shaft car, which I've heard is often the case at this power level. I was racing a Tamiya TB02 all season with great results. Then I got a new chassis for regular TC racing and started running my Tamiya TA05 in VTA and let a friend race the TB02. I just can't get the TA05 to perform as well -- same weight, same FDR, and they have the exact same suspension components. Maybe it's just me, but that's my experience.
