Glad you found the problem.
I just had a similar problem this week with a new motor. Wouldn't run properly below 1/2 a tank. Turns out a piece of shredded O Ring was blocking the HSN assembly. When the fuel pressure dropped as the tank emptied it wouldn't pass enough fuel past the blockage and it would run ugly. All sweet now though

Thanks Grizz, I've always been a poontang man. I starting running my break-in laps with no issues from the .25. However the NEW fuel tank on my RC8T has an airleak so I had to pull the tank off of my RC8 to do my break in (thank goodness for 80% parts compatibility!). Associated is shipping a replacement as we speak.
This thing pulls strong so I can't wait for it to get it's legs under itself after about a gallon and a half.
