I would like to see how you handled the connector-problem: my connectors touch the topdeck, and I had to dremel 1mm away to be able to mount my trakpower Lipo.
Also, when using this tray, I wonder how much clearance you have under the topdeck. I guess it will be a close one when using a "fat" hardcased Lipo as the Trakpower.

I was thinking of making a brass plate with some weight to mount on top of my Lipo ... but such a Lipo Tray as you presented lowers the weight and COG, which is always better, I guess.

No worries. I use top wire SMC lipos, so I don't have to worry about the deck messing with the connectors. Never tried any other batt. I'd post pics but I'm getting ready for a race this weekend and most of my batt stuff has shipped already.

I should have a better carpet setup next week.
