In my experience with one of these packs, the cut-off adds a lot of resistance. I have since relegated the pack to play use...when I want to run LiPo in a basher toy that doesn't have it's own cut-off.

I tried to discharge one of these packs on my Turbo 35 and it got hot enough to drop the fuses right out of the bottom of the charger. Never had this happen with any other packs (Yes I have the LiPo update in the charger and no, I don't discharge LiPos regularly or ever below 6.5 volts. Every now and then I like to see the resistance of my packs). I don't remember the exact number, but the Trinity had 4-5 times the resistance of my Peak/Orions. If it's not the cut-off they must use pretty poor cells.
