extreme settings?
i got a question... during the June 8 TCS.. i programmed my VFS to all "1" for all 32 stages of the esc. i was running a monster pro in an F201 that had the high speed gear set (FDR of about. 5.96)
is there anything bad with doing this? (i knew i was in danger of burning the motor) but i did manage to finish 2nd in the D-main in my first ever TCS (not bad for a first time F201 driver).
actually ... i did BURN the motor.. but besides the motor ... is there anything else that can get damaged? batteries? the esc itself? i think the FDR had something to do with the burned motor, and not the programming on the esc. the car was PUNCHY AS HECK tho since i ran 1.179 GP3300s on it.
lastly... is anyone running the booster along with the capacitor that was provided with the esc? are there disadvantages or advantages to running one over the other? and what happens if i run both?
