My understanding is the diff between the standard and teh race is the plug type.
there is a big difference between the 3 pt sport and the 3pt r spec not just the head type
they have different carbs, crank, crankcase, sleave etc.
The 3pt sport is an ok budget motor and with the addition of a turbo head button are pretty reliable but I would spend the extra and get the R-spec as it's a lot more of an engine.
