Y'all are confused about the purpose of the shocks. Their main function is to keep the tire patch in contact with the ground as much as possible, 'cause if you ain't putting the power down and carrying speed out of the corners, you ain't winning. Jumping is secondary.
+1 to what Integra said. I got to race mine for the 2nd time last weekend and made a 1mm ride height change fromt and rear, huge difference. The car is really precise, pay attention to ride height, droop settings, etc. Also, be sure the suspension moves freely, ream the hinge pin holes a little if you have to. And if you're not building the shocks with full rebound, I'd recommend it.
