to clean my components, i hold them outside my window and spray them with Motor Spray, WD40, or whatever other solvent.
I left motor spray sitting on the window sill. My window has heavy wooden blinds. So I drop the blinds which then presses down on the Motor Spray which then sprays me with that dry cold feeling for a good 5 seconds.
