just seemed to have more bottom end power with the pipe, wasnt a huge difference they both work better then the 2053 that comes with the promo kit, if you have a 053 or 9853 allready, go ahead and use it, you will be happy with it, if you are gonna be buying a new pipe you can get the thunder tiger with manifold from amain for 46.99
