I mean you can't tune a Go as a V-spec for example just because you used the OS carb.
I'm i right on this one or is just my head going rounds!!!

each individual carb will tune differently because of its own individual charachteristics. We know how to tune an OS or a Nova carb because they have been around for 30 years .. if Go carbs were round for 30 years and Nova or OS were new we would have trouble tuning them too .. Different carbs have different metering.. Where peopel are going wrong is they treat the engine like an OS or a Nova .. what you should be doing is tuning the individual engine as oposed to expecting it to be tuned like an OS or a Nova.

forget the standard 2 turns in from flush ... and the LSN being 4 turns in ...

start at Flush on the HSN and 1 turn in from flush on the LSN . Then run the engine for a couple of tanks under load .. see what happens .. the Go Carb is designed to be really easy to tune. the trick is usually you only have to go a variance of 1/4 turn rich or lean from flush to get it in the ball park. Flush being the easiest refrence point. Once we get our heads around this you will all see how easy hey are to tune.
