I ran it on the carpet after running the HPI corvette. It was an improvement over the HPI, but I don't think it is best for out side. Try looking at Team Magic's gas car as they have a GTP that I have run, and it works pretty well. I put some side dams on it and that helped even more. The other would be to wait for Proto-form to put out his 200mm of the Pew Joe. So I'd do the Team Magic if needed now or wait for the new 200mm GTP.
