I don't know what they come shimmed for but I have seen that they reccomend 25%.I bought one because I run at 301 raceway and the 35plus cordoba murnan modified looked to be the fastest engine at 301 I have seen plus I got a good deal that I just couldn't pass up.The murnan cordoba hauled but all over that track and it pulled very hard the whole straight,through the sweeper to the tight right.Tons of torque.The only motor I have ran in 1/8 is my stock ninja with ceramics and when the cordoba gets here it will be getting shipped to murnan.I can't wait
