I think it comes down to driving style. I ran a TC3 for 18 months and was barely able to get out of the local Sportsman class and into stock (here it goes novice, sportsman, stock, exp stock) I just never felt comfortable running it. I bought a Losi four months ago, and now I'm running expert mod races and running with some fairly fast guys. But I've seen it go the other way too. Guys running belt cars go out and get a TC3 or a Yok and pick up 3 tenths all of a sudden. Just what you're comfortable running.
