I've had my share of experience with Venom products. Their customer service is decent, but their products are pure utter crap.

It's not the fact that they slap a sticker across cheap electronics/batts/motors from China, it's that they have no quality control process to weed them out.

There are some decent stuff made in China these days (I emphasize decent, not good or excellent), but a distributor/re-badger have to be able to filter out the crap that in it...

I think Team Orion does the same with their product, but I have not had one failure from their goods... I think Team Orion does a better job at filtering out the defective items from the pile.

Venom doesn't seem to pick up their phone however. I tried calling them and just gave up after no one picked up. There is a rep from Venom on these boards, I forgot who it was, but he suggested that I send back a motor that was defective...

My motor was an el-cheapo $14 motor. I didn't want to spend another $5 to ship it, since that means I would've paid close to $20 for a crap motor.

I bought a similar grade motor from Team Orion, no problems. I bought another motor (with different turn) from Team Orion, same series, no problems.

If you search around, there's quite a few complaints about Venom products, especially their batteries...
