Yes it works! But really only on losi tires. And it doesn't work as a tire softner, but it opens up the poors in the tire. The track I raced at in Denver only allowed wd-40 and simplegreen to be used. Once you get use to it, you'll never go back. In fact the track I race at now, most of the racers have switched over to it. In fact I now use a industrial strength stuff called CRC 3-36. But I used WD-40 for years.
