thanks for the responses...they all make sense...which is why I asked if a conversion kit was available.
I thought the Rev 4 motor pod would work as i noticed somewhere it lloked the same as the entry level 1/10th scale on-road chassis...in any event I figured once a brushless was wired into the Rev 4 motor pod (which was neatly done by ODPurople) i could transfer to the 1/10th scale as i do not expect to have to replace the motor frequently.
I'll probably just pick-up a new kit but thought to ask the question.
