That doesn't sound right. Most Recommend 20% Nitro. Average oil I would say is around 11 or 12%. Race blends will run 8%. I know Byron's is 11 for the Gen 2. If you are new I would get 20%. It is a bit easier to tune than 30% but will have a bit less power. Most wouldn't even notice. I run 30% though.
