i agree with cutting the body after it's mounted but if you have to follow the gbs rule then don't you have to cut on the lines? on the foam body the line is clearly marked gbs. also if the body is resting on the shock tower and he would have trimmed it after he mounted it, the front splitter would be very tall and that wouldn't be right either. he said that his hood is flat but the pictures of the r9-r seems to have bumps for the shock tower, maybe he just got a hold of a couple bad bodies.
GBS rules are for the body itself. There are other rules in regards to the size of the wheel cut outs. But those are the drivers responsibility to cut them correctly. There is no ROAR rule for body height to ground from the lower edge for the sides or front. Only from the rear. But that is with a 20mm block under the chassis. The trim lines are merely guidelines. To required under the rules.
