Talking 1/8 brushless racing formats

I started reading the 1/8 conversion thread about 5 weeks ago. Awesome stuff!

This one's dedicated to discussing the best race format for the fastest growing area in off road racing: 1/8 electric!!!

A few thoughts:

What's harder, winning 1 20 min main or an ifmar style triple A main at 7 min each? The longer single A is interesting however too "nitro"IMO with aditional, undue stress on the batteries/electronics.

The 3x7min mains is surely harder to win. Not to mention that there would be less stress on the systems.

It's also something to remember that at electric-only events, it'll have to be somewhat fair in terms of driving vs. Marshaling time. If it were to be 3x7min mains, perhaps it could be best out of 2 qualifiers to be fair [at 1/10 + 1/8 electric events club level]

Would the lower mah batteries work better if the mains were no more than 10 min(triple style), or 15 songle main style?
