As rbfive said the 2.0 does not have exponential settings. If you are going to be racing--especially any 2wd that is a huge feature to be missing. Between those two radios I would go for the 3.0 on that single feature alone.
if you really believe your gonna be serious about racing for a while you should get a dx3r if ya got the money. I had the dx3.0 and the brake is a mile away. Makes it more difficult to drive the car. I liked he dx3r when i tryed one.
Maybe get a used m11 ? Just saying that radio just kinda falls in the middle.
