No LiPo possible in these cars. Voltage is all wrong, and the reduced weight means the cars won't have any traction, or any steering. You need to run 4 x NiMh cells to have a chance of being competitive - sorry!

EnerG and EP cells are now very good, and we find them to be lasting a long time with good performance. They don't go flat during storage for about eight weeks (put in 2000mAh to store) and they don't overheat during charging. Very good cells.

I ran my BMI DB10R last week with a 12 x 2 on 60mm/rev, with EnerG cells, and was as fast down the straight as drivers using 5.5BL. This is a cheap class, and great fun to drive. Don't worry about LiPo, use NiMh for more smiles per drive!! HTH
