Buggy or Truggy ? I run the 7 port in my buggy and really like it. The 5 port is a really strong bottom end to mid range motor, geat in truggy. The 7 port is more of a mid to top end motor generally suited more to a buggy. Don't be fooled though, the 7 port still has plenty of bottom end for sure. It just has a smoother application of the bottom end power, unlike the 5 port which comes on really strong and can be a bit of a handful in a buggy IMO.
All the guys that run 7 ports in their buggies are more than happy with them.
Combine a 7 port turbo with the Go 0801 pipe and you will be pleasantly surprised. Just remember the Go motors take a little time to run in before you get the best out of them (around 1.5 gal). If you take the time to run them in carefully, you will have a great motor that will perform and last very well.
