Check, and check. Motors are geared at or near recommended gearing with a temp of 160 degrees F, after the run. Speedo temp is about 130 degrees F after the run. But the temp on the speedo was with a high airflow fan. I tried a different battery today to test (tekin 3400) which I borrowed from a friend. The battery is only 2 weeks old and the smc 4000 I got when they came out still has more go go juice. But both batteries did the falling off thing. Again, it is not a huge drop, it is like losing the peak on a nimh cell.
