I just take mine out - but I'm sharing them across 8 diff rcs so thats just what I do. I think this lipo danger is overhyped, if you take care of them and treat them like you're supposed to, there are not going to be any probs.

I'd be worried about temps if you were to use a batt lipo sac. Lipos need circulating air and anything that restricts that could be detrimental. Lipos are being damaged when their internal temps get over 140F. Also, internal temps can continue to rise for a while after you stop running. Again, important they be able to cool.

If your setup is hard on your lipos def don't need anything that may make them get hotter. If your setup is optimum and your batts don't get much above ambient, then shouldn't be any potential probs.
