Here is the problem me and other at a local track found with simple green a long time ago.
Our track runs pink taper pins, from full tread to bald depending on track conditions so a set of tires lasts forever.
When I was using simple green about every 6 months my foams (Losi firms)would breakdown, when I pulled the tire apart the foam would be turning to dust.
When I stopped using simple green the problem went away. have tires that are 5 years old, with original foams that I still race with.
Others had the same problems and stopping the simple green stop the foam breakdown.
Also we never dunk the tires or get the foams wet.
