I was about to purchase some 5000HV 7.4v lipo packs from Max when someone mentioned Cheap battery packs was having a sale on the Elite brand of lipos. However, unlike MaxAmps that tailor the wire ends to your desired needs it seems I'd have to setup the cheaper battery packs. Are they the same as soldering a pair of loose NIMH cells together? Would it just be better to buy a pair of 5k 2s2p from MaxAmps?
