Yeah I don't know about a cylinder head either...but that certainly looks like a fuel tank that I can see through the front fender.
The picture in the magazine is much higher quality than the banner on the AE site, but I had to knock it down to post it. At the bottom of the window it looks like I can see the top cooling fin for a nitro head. I could be wrong!!
