Here is a couple of pics that might help you out.

Shock tower - You can use either type of ball studs shown.

Shock - Use the kit shock ball cup(on shaft). If you require more droop use the kit shock shafts in place of the Tamiya ones.

Corally springs fit fine. Also Tamiya, HPI, Excel and probably a range of others.
