I am not a pro by any means, and some of the others here may be better to answer this question. I was, however, having a similar issue just this weekend. I used to keep my engines around 200-220 when I heat cycled them. The GO engine, however, like to be broken in around 240-260 according to others on this forum. Put some foil on the head, make sure the HSN is flush and lean the bottom ever so slightly and see if this helps. Make sure you are still getting raw fuel out of the pipe (without the igniter on) and plenty of smoke. With the raw fuel, you know the engine is getting plenty of lube and those temps will help with that TIGHT pinch. This is what worked for ME in a combination with the break in procedure on page 78......it is by no means to be used as a guide for anyone. I am now on tank 9 and the engine is beginning to show some life ........I can tell this thing is going to be a beast!
