I found the Tamiya's to be a bit too tall but I do know a couple of guys that said they made them work. I wanted to go with all HB springs as well but it's been a nightmare trying to get them. I shouldn't have to order over seas for some springs... I had the complete Xray set already so I put on the one's I wanted to try and went from there. It works and I have them all and other racers can get them a lot quicker than waiting for the Hara springs to come in. I also think that the AE springs will work but I gave them away when I got rid of the TC5. They are cheap enough to buy again so it's no big deal. Try your Tamiya springs and see if you can get your ride height to your desired settings.
