With the plate installed there is enough bow in my XXXT-CR battery strap to make me a bit uncomfortable. I'm going to see if I can fudge another solution - may my neighbor can machine a mm off (better to add a little more weight than none at all). Or maybe check the Orion LiPos for a better fit. Using the plate definately removes the option of moving the battery way back.
