Yep, in theory the side plates would add straight-line stability, and also affecting turn-in response.
But in practice, they fall off when you clip a tall marker or get "finessed" by another driver.
well..mind would never come off!! i use screws and nuts to hold the side wings...although it add a little more weight...(what..10g 15g?) which doesnt bother me....
