I have seen races won in the last lap after 30 min. The reason for longer main is because of frist lap or turn hacking. Just like this weekend I TQed and got drove all over in first corner then got beat to death trying to get back to front. I won it on last lap it was a fifteen min race. I do believe 15 min is long enough .
