alot of us use the HPI #2 piston, I believe it has (2)1.1mm holes. with 30-40wt oil, The new Rayspeed pistons look interesting also.
Congradulations on the R2 purchase, this is a very quick car, you will see 
the 1.1 pistions are a very good choise with the long span arms...but I prefer the 1.2 drilled pistions and heavier Oil..
