Winner!

Foam breathes better than cloth. A K&N filter flows better than a paper filter in a full sized car, not a foam filter. a K&N might offer better protection, but I have never seen dirt fully penetrate a properly mounted oiled foam filter.

Cloth can break down/or clog when it gets wet or muddy.

K&N filters are very heavy compared to a foam filter.
