-For the buggy i was looking into the new 08' 5 port engine...have they upgraded the carb on this version...is it easier and better than the silver head 5 port?
-For the truggy i need your opinion on the most powerful GO >.21.
vti-chris, A lot of people say that about the 3 Port R. Here's my .2c worth:
Buggy, you can't go past the 7 Port Turbo. These things rock !! More than enough bottom for any buggy situation and a top end that just goes on and on. Everyone seems to be going hard on the 3 Ports in buggy, and the 7's are sort of a forgotten breed, but I would take the 7 Port T any day.
Can't comment on >.21 in truggy, never been there. The 5 Port Turbo had plenty of grunt for me in my truggy, plus we can't race anything bigger than .21 in truggy here anyway.
I think the 5 Ports have too much bottom for a lot of buggy applications.
The 7 port has nearly as much bottom as the 5, but just delivers it a little smoother, which for buggy is ideal.
