So this thread has been reborn huh? Thats cool. I don't think it carries the same power though. there were people(including me)who reeeeeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllllllyyyyyyyyy were sick of seeing the stratus as the only body at major events and local tracks. But, now I don't think most of us hate it as much as when the thread started. Our local track now has a nice mix of 300m, Stratus, Accord, CLK DTM, and NSX bodies. As for the big races, I think its more of an american R/C thing now. Yes the major races here in the US still are dominated by the stratus. BUT, if you look at the races in the Eastern world, the drivers choose to run Vauxhall Opel Vectra's, Alfa Romeo 156's and even the BMW 3-series body with great success. Apparently, they have gotten the message quicker than US drivers, that you really don't HAVE to run the stratus to win.
