Basically could the motor be set aside as a spare and not used unless needed and then checked out to a driver on an as needed basis. I am not suggesting sharing motors but if that motor had not been used in competition yet could it be transfered to another driver. Trying to figure out how not to have 3 $80 BL motors on hand "just in case" when I should only need 1. That is what this technology was supposed to bring to the drivers. Thanks for your feedback!
The simple and quick answer to this question is NO. If a motor is teched, it's ID to a driver and vehicle/class at that time. Motors can be registered to more than one vehicle/class. If you don't want to have 3 motors it's simple don't, just use one. There were a lot guys running BL at the carpet nats with just one motor.
