LOL !!! Yup I am a racer looking for a sponsorship !!! you got me nailed on that one....
I may be mistaken that the .24 is a Picco, but I am not a fool ..... Is this new Extech to the Sirio Kanai what the Drake 28 was to the Picco 28 ? Or the Drake .21 to the P7R.... I remember arguing this exact same stuff when the Drake motors came out.... Some people claimed they were some new fantastic engine specially made by Picco to Trinity standards.... Yet int he end the only thing to Trinity standards was logo on the block, other then that the motor was just a regular production Picco..... Not that there is anything wrong with that as the Picco are good mills, but Trinity did charge alot of money for the Drake motors as compared to the Picco's by OFNA.... The whole reason I am asking about these Extech engines is to see if the motor is indeed unique to Trinity or have they just rebranded the production Sirio engines as they did with the Picco's..... If they did make changes over the production Sirio's what changes were made and how would it affect the powerband and performance of the engine ? Are the Extech's superior to the Sirio STI engines ? do they have the STI piston fitment and crank hardcoating ? What separates the Extech's from the non STI Sirio engines which can be bought for $229.00 at A-Main ? What did the dyno say about these Extech engines ?
