in my opinion, the 180 off is the hardest thing to negotiate on any track. the very best drivers will most likly not be offended is there is not one there. i would have to think that it would actually be welcomed by them, as it makes their runs cleaner as well.
a car that shorts the 180 off will usually be caring only enough speed to be pushed back into the line of traffic, where it ill either be plowed, or cause drivers to check up and be plowed themselves. where as a car that shorts a sweeper will be ejected to (or over) the outer board (as scott has proven

), and leave only a trail of parts for other drivers to deal with.
scott, as much as your opinion is respected, i do not feel that you will have many supporters on this issue, with a track that size. on an 80 ft. strait, i see your point, but at 200 ft........ not so much.
