Trains and Lanes 2008 Dash For Cash Point Series
SO as im sure all of you have heard one way or another, we will be having our 1st annual Trains and Lanes Dirt Bowl, July 19th (electric) and July 20th (nitro).
To keep us in the swing of things till then, starting next week, June 8th 2008, I will be running a 5 week point series till July 19th, get it(Dash for cash) With us taking a break June 22nd (aka not running). The series will end July 13th. Im hoping to get 5 solid weeks in, but who knows what the weather will decide to do.
Classes are as follows:
Electric:
2wd Buggies
2wd Trucks
4wd Buggies
1/8th scale Buggies, if theres less than 4 entrys for 8th electric they will run with nitro)
Nitro Classes:
1/10th 2wd Trck
1/8th Buggie
1/8th Truggie
Points will be reedy style, ex the lower your points the better off you are.
1st place 0 pts
2nd Place 1 pts
3rd Place 2 pts
4th Place 3 pts
5th Place 4 pts
etc.
Top qualifier in each division will receive -1 pt, and those with perfect attendance, all five weeks will receive a -2pt bonus at the end of the series.
So if you figure out the math, this gives everyone a shot at placing. (yes like golf, you can finish with -minus points) Top 3 spots in each division will receive Trains and Lanes Race Bucks. Payout will be divided over prize fees from each division over the five weeks.
