Actually, since the bulkheads, and all attached suspension parts are sitting ON TOP of the 4mm thick, unrecessed chassis, the chassis mass is LOWERED I.E. THE BOTTOM OF THE CHASSIS IS NOW 1 MM FURTHER BELOW THE BOTTOM OF THE BULKHEADS. Since the only mass which lies below the level of the chassis bottom is the portion of the 4 tires and wheels, and since this remains unchanged at the same ride height the the CG must be lower with the thicker chassis.

Mugen made 4mm Chassis that have recessed for the front & rear bulk head, radio mount, etc.. That makes roll center the same as the stock 3mm chassis. Not sure of RD, Kawahara, 3-racing or others 4mm chassis.
