Even though it's smoother on the bottom end it still has heaps of grunt for a truggy.
3 port R is better suited to buggy, and the 7 port is also a sweet buggy motor if running a medium to tight track.
I thought I read somewhere that the 3-port has the most torque down low. Am I wrong? I have a 7-port right now so are you saying it would be better to put the 7-port in the truggy and 3-port in the buggy or should I just get a 5-port for the truggy instead. I like smooth motors with not alot of punch right off. I am a very smooth driver and for example I hated my Picco.28 because it was like a light switch with the power, very sudden and abrupt. My axial .28RR lacks in bottom end compared to most but that is what I love about it very easy to drive on a shorter technical course without worrying about spinning out.
