Turning the fuel nipple around is easy. Just above the fuel nipple itself you will see the brass pipe that the needle screw sits in has two flat sections. Find a spanner that fits these flat sections and gently undo the pipe a quater turn. Swivel the nipple to the required location, hold it in place while you gently nip the pipe up again. Don't overtighten.
