Default Trinity DPD to cycle Lipo batteries?

Anyone tried using the external leads on a Trinity DPD to discharge a lipo in order to get some data from the battery? In theory this would work by setting the discharge cut-off to 1.0 volts for a 6-cell pack which makes the total cut-off voltage 6.0. However, I'm worried the higher discharge-rate (C-rating) of a lipo could fry the external leads. So, anyone tried this yet? I'm all done with Ni-Mh and I've got two DPD's that are just sitting in their original boxes and my Hyperion charger will not discharge lipo batteries. Any info is much appreciated!!
