The V-spec has been a good motor for either application. I have a few modded V-specs out there that push a truggy around like it was a .28 and getting over 10 minutes of run time out of it. We have over 6 gallons on a couple and still going strong. Alot depends on the tune and fuel/oil used in terms of motor life is concerned. Most of the rossi and picco based motors I have done have lasted easily into the 10+ gallon range when taken good care of.
