On the O.S. carbs you really shouldnt need to adjust the midrange passed the stock setting. Stock is perfectly flush with the body then one for 360 degree turn it. It should be set between the 2 and four o clock as if you were looking at a clock face. Tuning the mid varries directly with the low I.E. if you turn the mid in an hour you have to do the opposite or close to with the LSN setting. In short, unless you are much better at tuning engines than me I wouldnt mess with it unless you're experiencing problems between low and high.
