Sub C is...but the Sub Cs we use are not. Other industries do not have as demanding needs on current draw and high rates of charging as we do. Also it has been quite awhile since I've seen something outside of our industry still use them. None of the power tools I've looked at recently appear to be a sub C configuration, laptops haven't used them in many years now.
